Abstract

SPANISH: Se observo la fachada de la Sociedad Amazonence de Beneficiencia fundada un 23 de septiembre de 1905, su arquitectura es uno de los hermosos edificios antiguos que se ubican en el centro histórico de Iquitos. Fue de la idea un grupo de ciudadanos provenientes del departamento de Amazonas, tuvo como fin “fomentar la unión entre paisanos y prestarse ayuda mutua en los momentos difíciles que podrían tener”.<br><br>ENGLISH: We observed the facade of the Amazon Benefit Society founded on September 23, 1905, its architecture is one of the beautiful old buildings that are located in the historic center of Iquitos. It was the idea of a group of citizens from the department of Amazonas, and its purpose was to "promote the union between countrymen and help each other in the difficult moments they might have".
